hello, have silverlight project using couple of service reference pointing svc files on local pc defined in web project. works fine. when deploy web application doesnt' work anymore because first have delete , recreate service references making them pointing svc files on production server, works in production too.  i guess there's cleaner way achieve this. please help me?  thank in advance.  it's bit dirty think there no real clean way this when i'm creating silverlight apps consume wcf services, set site under same url in production , use hosts file point www.timzsite.com address local iis.  then, when add service reference silverlight app, has same url on live no need re-point production failing that, search , replace on local url entire solution , change development wcf url live 1 , re-compile prefer local host file amend Silverlight ...

i have windows2003 server setup , i've loaded iis on it.  my webpage work , able see webpage externally not internally. when type in pubic ip address on server or anywhere on internal network can't see it.  outside can see webpage fine.  i guessing dns problem not know problem is. know how fix this? tech user does not sound dns related since trying access page via public ip address.  when type in ip url, there no dns lookup.  if unable access the public ip inside network, nat related.  many of consumer based nat routers not allow accessing public ip maps private ip, inside network. does webserver have public ip configured, or private ip, nat'd via internet router?   for dns, create host record on internal zone, map record private ip address of web server. visit anitkb.com , knowledge base.
